Pickerel Lake (http://www.pickerel-lake-news.com) is amongst the many Connecticut lakes with a major weed infestation (variable-leaf milfoil and fanwort) that hampers many recreational activities of the lake. A $20,000+ feasibilty report (CT DEP paid 3/4 and residents supplied 1/4), completed in 2004, had indicated that use of grass carp that a review of the Ball Pond study is in order, prior to the stocking of Pickerel Lake.......any thoughts or comments from Ball Pond residents would be greatly appreciated, in lue incomplete or unfinished data from Ball Pond.....
