The ice will soon be gone and the weeds will soon be here. Any results from the Ball Pond/grass carp experiment, to control aquatic vegetation? |

The carp reduced the total biomass of weeds for a few years(3-4), then they got old and fat & lazy. Some new ones will replace the old, but they will never reduce the vegetation to a point where it is not a problem for recreation in Ball Pond. Too many nutrients feeding the crop. |
